It gave Minnesota just its second win in its last five games.

On the play, the puck slipped into Walz' pants and Columbus forward Jason Chimera checked him from behind, sending both Walz and the puck into the net.

Columbus had a 3-2 lead after two periods, courtesy of power play goals by Brian Rolston and Pavol Demitra.

Rolston also scored the game-tying goal in the third period.

Kurtis Foster had three assists; Pierre-Marc Bouchard had two assists; and Manny Fernandez gave up three goals on 29 shots for the Wild.

Chimera, Joakim Lindstrom and Alexander Svitov all scored once; and Ty Conklin allowed four goals on 24 shots for the Blue Jackets, who have lost three of the last four games.
