SOUTH BEND, Ind., Dec. 30 (UPI) -- Russell Carter scored 23 points after hitting seven three-pointers Saturday as the 19th-ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish beat Stony Brook, 95-66.
Colin Falls added 17 points with five three-pointer and Rob Kurz had 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Irish (12-1), who have won 11 straight games for the first time since the 1986-87 season.

The Irish were without guard Kyle McAlarney, who was suspended for the game after being arrested Friday on a marijuana possession charge.
Mitchell Beauford and Mike Popoko each had 14 points for the Seawolves (5-7), who have never beaten a Division I opponent in five tries. Popoko also had six rebounds and two blocked shots.
