COL FB: California 45, Texas A&M 10

SAN DIEGO, Dec. 29 (UPI) -- Marshawn Lynch rushed for 111 yards and two TDs Thursday night as No. 20 California easily beat 21st-ranked Texas A&M, 45-10, in the Holiday Bowl.

Justin Forsett rushed for 124 yards and a touchdown and quarterback Nate Longshore was 19-of-24 for 235 yards and a TD for the Golden Bears (10-3).

Longshore ran for one score and threw one interception. Lavelle Hawkins caught four passes for 33 yards and a TD, and DeSean Jackson caught five passes for 79 yards for the Golden Bears.

Stephen McGee completed 18-of-27 passes for 183 yards and a touchdown for the Aggies (9-4).

Texas A&M scored first when McGee hooked up with Chad Schroeder on a 19-yard TD pass in the first quarter. Cal scored a TD on their next possession as Longshore dove into the end zone from the 1-yard line -- and the Golden Bears went on to outscore the Aggies, 38-3, the rest of the way.
