COL BKB: Texas A&M 101, Grambling St. 27

COLLEGE STATION, Texas, Dec. 29 (UPI) -- Josh Carter went 6-for-6 on three-pointers Thursday night as 12th-ranked Texas A&M clobbered out-manned Grambling State, 101-27.

The Aggies quickly turned the contest into a rout by scoring the game's first 28 points.

Carter scored 24 points; Joseph Jones had 20 points and seven rebounds; Acie Law IV had 13 points and 14 assists; and reserve Donald Sloan had 12 points, four rebounds, and four assists for the Aggies (11-2), who won four games in a row.

Anthony Williams and Kendric Baker scored six points apiece for the Tigers (2-5), who have lost five of their last six games.

Grambling, which never had a chance from the opening seconds, made only 20 percent of its 51 shots, committed 30 turnovers, and was out-rebounded, 48-34.

The Aggies had a whopping 65-13 halftime lead.
