COL BKB: Oregon 76, Portland 49

EUGENE, Ore., Dec. 29 (UPI) -- No. 20 Oregon improved to 12-0 for the first time Thursday night with a 76-49 rout of Portland.

Maarty Leunen had 24 points and 14 rebounds; Aaron Brooks had 19 points and three assists; and Adam Zahn had 10 points and seven rebounds for the Ducks, who had 34-21 halftime advantage and were never threatened.

Darren Cooper had 12 points, three rebounds and two assists; while Taishi Ito had nine points and two rebounds for the Pilots, who sank to 3-12 with the fourth loss in their last five games.

Oregon has never started a season 12-0 in its 60-year basketball history.
