BATON ROUGE, La., Dec. 29 (UPI) -- Glen "Big Baby" Davis had 19 points and LSU scored the game's first 15 points Thursday night in a 92-58 rout of Mississippi Valley State.
LSU led, 47-21, at the break, and the only drama came with 12:16 remaining in the contest, when Coach John Brady was ejected after receiving two technical fouls.
Davis finished with 13 rebounds four assists and three steals. Tasmin Mitchell had 17 points and five rebounds, Dameon Mason scored 13 points, while Terry Martin and Darnell Lazare scored 10 apiece for the Tigers (9-3), who have won four of their last five games.
Larry Cox had nine points and eight rebounds, and both Carl Lucas and Jefferey Price scored seven points for the Delta Devils (3-8), who had won their previous two games.
