NBA: Denver 116, Boston 105

DENVER, Dec. 27 (UPI) -- Alan Iverson continued to make himself at home in Denver Tuesday night by leading the Nuggets with 28 points in a 116-105 romp over the Boston Celtics.

Iverson, who was traded to Denver from Philadelphia shortly before Christmas, shot 9-of-22 from the floor and added 13 assists against a Boston team that has dropped three of its last four games.

Earl Boykins came off the bench to add another 28 for Denver while Eduardo Najera scored 16.

Denver, playing without the suspended Carmelo Anthony, led 57-47 at halftime and maintained a 10-point lead throughout the fourth quarter.

Tony Allen and Gerald Green each scored 18 points to lead the Celtics.
