NBA: Utah 100, Memphis 97

MEMPHIS, N.J., Dec. 24 (UPI) -- Utah rallied from a late five-point deficit Saturday night to beat the Memphis Grizzlies, 100-97.

The Jazz trailed, 97-92 with 2:27 remaining, but scored the game's final eight points to get the second win in their last three games.

Carlos Boozer had 24 points, 11 rebounds, five assists, and two steals; Mehmet Okur had 20 points and nine rebounds; and Deron Williams added 17 points and nine assists for the Jazz, who had a solid 41-28 rebounding advantage.

Okur's three-pointer with 36 seconds left was the game's biggest basket.

Utah also faced a 28-20 deficit after the first quarter.

Mike Miller had 28 points, five rebounds, and two assists; Dahntay Jones had 14 points and three blocked shots; Pau Gasol had 12 points, two rebounds, and two blocks; while Damon Stoudamire added 11 points and six assists for the Grizzlies, who suffered their third straight loss.

Their home record fell to 4-8.
