NBA: Denver 117, Washington 108

DENVER, Dec. 19 (UPI) -- Earl Boykins' 29 points Monday night powered the Denver Nuggets to a 117-108 victory over the visiting Washington Wizards.

Boykins also hit 14-of-15 from the free throw line helping take up the slack from missing top scorers Carmelo Anthony and J.R. Smith, who were among the seven Denver players suspended by NBA Commissioner David Stern for Saturday night's brawl with the Knicks at Madison Square Garden.
