COL BKB: Tennessee 79, Oklahoma St 77

NASHVILLE, Dec. 18 (UPI) -- Dane Bradshaw tipped in the winning shot with 1.9 seconds left Monday as the Tennessee Volunteers upset the 14th-ranked Oklahoma State Cowboys, 79-77.

With the game tied at 77-77, Bradshaw followed a missed layup attempt with a one-hand tip shot.

Oklahoma State had a final chance to inbound the ball the length of the court. Byron Eaton threw it to Mario Boggan, who caught the ball at the foul line, took a step back, and fired a jumper that rimmed out at the buzzer.

Chris Lofton scored 20 points for the Volunteers (9-2), who now have five consecutive victories. Duke Crews had 17 points and nine rebounds and JaJuan Smith added 14 points.

Boggan had 20 points and rebounds for previously unbeaten Oklahoma State (11-1), which started the season with 11 consecutive wins for just the fifth time in school history.
