EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Dec. 16 (UPI) -- Detroit scored twice in the third period Saturday afternoon to rally for a 2-1 victory at New Jersey.
The game-winning goal was scored by Brett Lebda at 10:43 of the period.

Earlier, Pavel Datsyuk tied the score at 1-1 with a power play goal at 8:27.
Dominik Hasek gave up one goal on 22 shots for the Red Wings, who broke a 13-year losing streak at the Meadowlands.
Overall, they have won their last three road games.
Scott Gomez scored on the power play at 10:57 of the second period to give New Jersey a 1-0 lead, which stood up until Datsyuk's equalizer.
Martin Brodeur was beaten twice on 36 shots for the Devils, who have a three-game losing streak.
On the power play, both clubs went 1-for-7.
