VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Dec. 15 (UPI) -- Henrik Sedin scored the game-winning goal Thursday night as Vancouver beat the Calgary Flames, 3-1.
His goal at 17:31 of the second period snapped a 1-1 tie and put Vancouver in front for good.

Mattias Ohlund and Brendan Morrison also scored and Roberto Luongo made 21 saves on 22 shots for the Canucks, who have won three times in their last four games.
Matthew Lombardi scored a short-handed goal in the second period to prevent a shutout and Miikka Kiprusoff gave up three goals on 27 shots for the Flames, who had won their previous two games.
Both teams went 0-for-8 on the power play.
Calgary has dropped five straight road games for the second time this season.
