ST. LOUIS, Dec. 13 (UPI) -- St. Louis Rams linebacker Pisa Tinoisamoa likely is headed for injured reserve after his second broken hand this season.
He broke his right hand in Monday night's 42-27 loss to Chicago. He broke his left hand in practice Oct. 25.
An MRI Tuesday confirmed the latest break, and Coach Scott Linehan said the four-year veteran -- a third-round draft pick out of Hawaii in 2003 -- may have played his last down this season.
"We're evaluating whether it's realistic for him to even play in the final three games," Linehan told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Also in this injury-plagued season, the 6-foot-1 inch, 235-pounder suffered a sprained left shoulder against the Arizona Cardinals Dec. 3.
In 11 games, Tinoisamoa had 36 tackles and two sacks.
