NBA: New Jersey 105, Memphis 92

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Dec. 11 (UPI) -- The Atlantic Division-leading New Jersey Nets set a franchise record with 15 three-pointers Monday while posting a 105-92 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies.

Vince Carter set the pace for the Nets with 37 points, eight rebounds, five assists and four steals. He had a franchise-record nine three-pointers.

Carter broke his career high and the franchise record for three-pointers made in a game set by Jason Kidd (7) at Boston on Feb. 2, 2005 and himself (7) on Feb. 7, 2005 against Philadelphia and April 9, 2005 against Boston.

He also set the franchise record for three-point field goals attempted (20).

Nets point guard Jason Kidd added 12 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists for his 79th career triple-double, passing Wilt Chamberlain (78) for third on the all-time triple-doubles list.

Chucky Atkins scored 26 points for the Grizzlies, who lost their third straight.
