LOS ANGELES, Dec. 10 (UPI) -- Craig Conroy tallied the game winner as Los Angeles overcame a two-goal deficit to upend Colorado, 5-4, at the Staples Center.
Colorado went up 1-0 when Laaksonen scored 3:25 into the first period. Sakic tallied on the power-play to give the Avalanche a two-goal edge.
In the second, Los Angeles made it 2-1 when Kostopoulos lifted the puck by Theodore. Cammalleri's shot tied the contest, 2-2.
Late in the second, Liles' slap shot put Colorado up by one.
The Kings tied the game, 3-3, early in the third on Cammalleri's wrist shot/ The the Avalanche regained the lead on Turgeon's unassisted goal.
