NFL: New Orleans 34, San Francisco 10

NEW ORLEANS, Dec. 3 (UPI) -- Reggie Bush set a team record with four touchdowns Sunday afternoon as New Orleans clobbered the San Francisco 49ers, 34-10.

The electrifying rookie from USC ran for three scores on 10 carries for 37 yards and added a touchdown on nine receptions for 131 yards.

Duce McAllister gained 136 yards on 26 carries, John Carney kicked two field goals, and Drew Brees threw a touchdown on 17-for-28 passing for 186 yards, as the Saints rose to 8-4 with their second straight victory.

They lead the NFC South Division by 1 ½ games over Carolina.

Alex Smith was 14-for-28 for one touchdown, three interceptions and 171 yards for San Francisco. Antonio Bryant scored once on four catches for 79 yards, while Frank Gore was held to 40 yards on 13 carries for the 49ers (5-7), who have lost their last two games.

The Saints trailed, 3-0, after the first quarter, but went on to score 24 of the next 31 points.
