NHL: Los Angeles 3, New Jersey 2

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 28 (UPI) -- The Los Angeles Kings edged the New Jersey Devils, 3-2, Monday.

Los Angeles rookie Anze Kopitar scored a shootout goal and added a primary assist in regulation. Alexander Frolov also lit the lamp during the shootout while Lubomir Visnovsky and Michael Cammalleri scored regulation goals for the Kings, who have won two in a row.

Mathieu Garon made 20 saves and stoned the Devils on both of their shootout tries.

Brian Gionta and Travis Zajac had goals for New Jersey, which has dropped four straight. Patrik Elias donated two assists, and goaltender Martin Brodeur made 26 saves.
