Anti-Semetic slurs shouted against goalie

PAMPLONA, Spain, Nov. 27 (UPI) -- Israeli goalkeeper Dudu Awate has been the target of anti-Semitic slurs by fans of a rival team in Pamplona, Spain.

Awate, who surrendered four goals in the Deportivo La Coruna's 4-1 loss to Osasuna, was shouted at by supporters of the opposing team every time he placed the ball for a goal kick, YNetNews reported Monday. The supporters also waved Palestinian flags.
