NFL: New Orleans 31, Atlanta 13

ATLANTA, Nov. 26 (UPI) -- Drew Brees threw two touchdown passes Sunday to help the New Orleans Saints beat the Atlanta Falcons, 31-13.

The scoring passes were for 76 yards to Devery Henderson in the first quarter, and 48 yards to Terrance Copper in the second, as the Saints built a 21-6 halftime lead.

Brees completed 21-of-30 passes for 349 yards. Henderson caught four passes for 158 yards, and Duce McAlister ran for 71 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries for the Saints (7-4) -- who took sole possession of first place in the NFC South when Carolina lost at Washington.

Michael Vick was just 9-for-24 passing for 84 yards and no touchdowns or interceptions, while adding 166 yards rushing on 12 carries. Jerious Norwood gained 54 yards on 13 carries, and Warrick Dunn rushed for 52 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries for the Falcons (5-6), who suffered their fourth straight loss.

Atlanta had 281 rushing yards.
