DENVER, Nov. 22 (UPI) -- J.R. Smith poured in a career-high 36 points and Carmelo Anthony scored 29, lifting the Denver Nuggets to a 113-109 victory Tuesday over the Chicago Bulls.

The Nuggets got a double-double each from Andre Miller and Marcus Camby. Miller scored 11 and got 11 assists, while Camby scored 13 and grabbed 15 rebounds.

Denver has won two in a row, and five of six.

Kirk Hinrich led the Bulls with 28 points and eight rebounds; Luol Deng scored 22, and Ben Gordon provided 19 off of the bench. Two Bulls also registered double-doubles -- Ben Wallace scored 11 and grabbed 16 rebounds, and Andres Nocioni scored 15 and pulled down 11 boards.

Chicago has lost five in a row.
