NHL: Pittsburgh 5, Philadelphia 3

PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 20 (UPI) -- Ryan Whitney had a goal and two assists Monday as the Pittsburgh Penguins posted a 5-3 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers.

Pittsburgh has beaten Philadelphia in all four meetings this season for the first time since the 1992-93 campaign and has outscored the Flyers by a 20-7 margin.

Sidney Crosby, Dominic Moore and Sergei Gonchar each added a goal and an assist for the Penguins, who have won three of their last four games. Pittsburgh goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury made 22 saves.

Antero Niittymaki allowed five goals on 34 shots while Simon Gagne, Geoff Sanderson and Freddy Meyer scored for the Flyers.
