COL BKB: Connecticut 77, Mississippi 59

HARTFORD, Conn., Nov. 20 (UPI) -- A.J. Price scored a game-high 23 points Sunday as 19th-ranked Connecticut beat Mississippi, 77-59.

Price, who sank nine of his 13 shots, also had three rebounds and four assists.

Jerome Dyson had 16 points and four assists; Jeff Adrien had 13 points and 10 rebounds; and Marcus Johnson had 10 points and eight rebounds for the Huskies (4-0), who out-rebounded Ole Miss, 38-24.

Bam Doyne had 16 points, six rebounds and two assists; while both Clarence Sanders and Todd Abernethy scored 13 points for the Rebels (4-1), who shot just 35 percent from the floor.
