COL FB: Oklahoma 36, Baylor 10

WACO, Texas, Nov. 18 (UPI) -- Paul Thompson and Chris Brown accounted for three touchdowns Saturday afternoon as 16th-ranked Oklahoma routed Baylor, 36-10.

Thompson went 12-for-19 passing for two touchdowns and 178 yards and Brown ran for one touchdown on 24 carries for 169 yards.

Oklahoma blew the game open scoring 23 points in the third quarter after a 13-3 halftime lead.

Malcolm Kelly and Joe Jon Finley both caught touchdown passes; Blake Szymanski was tackled in the end zone for a safety; and Reggie Smith scored on a 42-yard interception return for the Sooners (9-2, 6-1 Big 12), who extended their winning streak to six straight games.

Szymanski was 23-for-46 for 189 yards and two interceptions. Braelon Davis recovered fumble and returned it 55 yards for a touchdown for the Bears (4-8, 3-5), who ended their season with a four-game losing streak.

Baylor has never beaten Oklahoma in 16 games.
