LOS ANGELES, Nov. 13 (UPI) -- Kobe Bryant scored 21 points and the Los Angeles Lakers used a first-quarter run to take control en route to a 91-81 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies.
The Lakers led 11-10 but closed the first period with a 12-4 run Sunday while handing Memphis its fourth consecutive loss.

Los Angeles closed the first half with a 10-1 spurt, with Bryant and Lamar Odom combining for eight of the points, in building a 19-point halftime lead and the Grizzlies never threatened again.
Odom supported Bryant with 20 points and 16 rebounds.
Mike Miller scored 21 points and had 13 rebounds for Memphis.
