PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 12 (UPI) -- Donovan McNabb passed for 222 yards and one touchdown Sunday as Philadelphia blasted Washington, 27-3.
The win broke Philadelphia's three-game losing streak.
McNabb's 84-yard touchdown pass to Donte' Stallworth, a 37-yard field goal by David Akers and a fumble return by Correll Buckhalter for a 37-yard touchdown gave the Eagles a 17-3 halftime lead.
In the second half, a 25-yard field goal by Akers and a 70-yard interception return for a touchdown by Sheldon Brown, both in the third quarter, capped the scoring.
Brian Westbrook added 113 yards on 22 carries for the Eagles (5-4).
Mark Brunell went 16-for-31 for 132 yards; Lydell Betts gained 83 yards on 20 carries; and Nick Novak kicked a 32-yard field goal for the Redskins (3-6), who have lost four of their last five games.
Washington running back Clinton Portis suffered a broken right hand in the first quarter.
