CLEVELAND, Nov. 11 (UPI) -- Cleveland rallied from a 25-point third quarter deficit Saturday night and edged the Boston Celtics, 94-93.
LeBron James had 38 points, eight rebounds and five assists. Sasha Pavlovic had 14 points and three assists, and Anderson Varejao had nine points and 10 rebounds for the Cavaliers, who won their second straight game.
James scored 25 points in the second half.
Paul Pierce -- who missed a potential game-winning three-pointer in the closing seconds -- had 19 points and nine rebounds for Boston. Sebastian Telfair had 15 points and five assists, and Kendrick Perkins added 12 points and 11 rebounds for the Celtics, who held an 82-63 with 10:16 left in the game, but lost for the fifth time in six games to begin the season.
Both teams had 42 rebounds.
