COLLEGE STATION, Texas, Nov. 4 (UPI) -- Patrick Allen rushed for 173 yards and a touchdown Saturday night as the Oklahoma Sooners edged the Texas A&M Aggies, 17-16.
Jacob Gutierrez added 52 yards rushing on seven carries for the Sooners (7-2, 4-1 Big 12), who have won four straight and five of their last six games.
Oklahoma's Paul Thompson was just 3-of-12 passing for 39 yards.
The Aggies (8-2, 4-2 Big 12) had won four straight.
Stephen McGee was 8-of-18 passing for just 63 yards with one interception. McGee went into the game having thrown 134 straight passes without being picked off.
Mike Goodson ran for 127 yards on 10 carries and Jorvorskie Lane added 62 yards rushing on 13 attempts, and got the Aggies only TD. Layne Neumann kicked three field goals in the loss.
