COL FB: California 38, UCLA 24

BERKELEY, Calif., Nov. 5 (UPI) -- Nate Longshore threw three touchdown passes Saturday night to lead 11th-ranked California past unranked UCLA, 38-24.

Longshore completed 20-of-24 passes for 266 yards, the three scores, and no interceptions.

Marshawn Lynch picked up 81 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries. Robert Jordan scored two touchdowns and gained 86 yards on five catches, and DeSean Jackson set a school record by scoring his fourth touchdown on a punt return for the Golden Bears (8-1, 6-0 Pac-10), who have won eight games in a row after a season-opening loss at Tennessee.

Cal is first in the conference.

Patrick Cowan was 22-of-40 for 329 yards and two interceptions, and ran for a touchdown. Chris Markey rushed for 140 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries, and caught six passes for 63 yards. Logan Paulsen made four catches for 74 yards for the Bruins (4-5, 2-4), who have a four-game losing streak.
