Hill recorded his seventh 100-yard game of the year.

Penn State not only had a two-game win streak end but also saw Coach Joe Paterno carted to the locker room after he suffered a knee injury in the second half.

Paterno, 79, suffered an injured left knee early in the third quarter when one of his players collided with him on the sideline. He stood on the sideline for awhile as he was attended to, but soon was aided to the bench, where he received more medical attention, and eventually was put into a brace.

Later, with just over two minutes left in the third quarter, Paterno was carted to the locker room.
