MIAMI, Nov. 4 (UPI) -- Branden Ore rushed for 77 yards and two touchdowns Saturday to lead 24th-ranked Virginia Tech to a 17-10 victory over the Miami-Florida Hurricanes.
Ore added two receptions for 17 yards. Sean Glennon completed just 5-of-19 passes for 87 yards with an interception for the Hokies (7-2, 4-2 ACC), who have won three straight.
Miami running back Tyrone Moss rushed for 105 yards and a touchdown for the Hurricanes (5-4, 2-3), who have lost their last two games.
Kyle Wright was 11-of-27 for 80 yards and was intercepted three times in the loss.
With 6:03 left to play and the game tied at 10-10, Glenn Sharpe intercepted a deep pass attempt by Glennon at the Miami 31-yard line. The Hurricanes turned the football right back over to the Hokies when Xavier Adibi intercepted a deflected pass, putting Virginia Tech at the Miami 26.
