COL FB: Ohio State 17, Illinois 10

CHAMPAIGN, Ill., Nov. 4 (UPI) -- Antonio Pittman and Chris Wells each rushed for a touchdown Saturday to lead top-ranked Ohio State to a 17-10 victory over Illinois.

The Buckeyes had only 224 yards of net offense, but they limited the Illini to 233, a majority of that yardage coming late in the game. Ohio State moved one step closer to its showdown with undefeated Michigan in two weeks, but first must get by Northwestern on the road next Saturday.
