BC fillymare: Ouija Board impressive

LOUISVILLE, Ky., Nov. 2 (UPI) -- Ouija Board took to the grass impressively on a crisp fall Thursday as she readied for Saturday's Emirates Airline Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf in Kentucky.

The 8-5 morning line favorite looked at the top of her game at Churchill Downs in Louisville and trainer Ed Dunlop says it's no surprise.

"She has a great attitude," he said. "She flourishes wherever she goes and puts on weight whenever she goes abroad. I'm lucky my owner decided to keep her in training after she was injured at York last year."

This is Ouija Board's third trip to the Breeder's Cup, having won once and finished second the other time.

"There has been a lot of questions about the amount of racing she has had this year, but Ouija Board's a freak," Dunlop said. "She takes her racing well and looks after herself at home. It's been well-documented this is her last year."
