BC Sprint: Henny Hughes a 2-1 favorite

LOUISVILLE, Ky., Nov. 1 (UPI) -- Favorites Henny Hughes and Bordonaro drew starting positions one spot apart for Saturday's $2.1 million Breeders' Cup Sprint at Churchill Downs in Kentucky.

A total of 14 horses are entered for the 6-furlong race for 3-year-olds and up. Henny Hughes, with John Velazquez up, drew the No. 4 post position and has opening odds of 2-1. Bordonaro, at 3-1, is in the sixth post position with Patrick Valenzuela in the irons.

Henny Hughes, a 3-year-old, has seen limited action this year, but has won all three of its races and never finished worse than second in eight career races. Bordonaro, a 5-year-old, is 3-1-0 this year and has nine firsts in 11 career races.
