NHL: Edmonton 5, Phoenix 2

EDMONTON, Alberta, Oct. 23 (UPI) -- Petr Sykora had a four-point night Monday for the Edmonton Oilers with a goal and three assists as he led them to a 5-2 win over the Phoenix Coyotes.

Alex Hemsky had a goal and two assists and Patrick Thoresen added three assists for the Oilers, who have won five of their last six games.

Dwayne Roloson had 28 saves for Edmonton.

Jeremy Roenick and Mike Comrie each scored for the Coyotes, who have lost three straight. Curtis Joseph yielded all five Edmonton goals on 39 shots.
