NHL: Edmonton 3, Detroit 1

EDMONTON, Alberta, Oct. 22 (UPI) -- Goaltender Dwayne Roloson made 26 saves on 27 shots Saturday night to help Edmonton beat Detroit, 3-1.

Joffrey Lupul had a goal and an assist, and Steve Staios and Petr Sykora both scored once for the Oilers (5-2-0), who are third in the Northwest Division with 10 points.

Pavel Datsyuk scored his second goal of the year, un-assisted in the third period, and Dominik Hasek gave up three goals on 24 shots for the Red Wings (3-4-1), who are fourth in the Central Division with seven points.

On the power play, both teams went 0-for-5.
