NFL: Cincinnati 17, Carolina 14

CINCINNATI, Oct. 22 (UPI) -- Rudi Johnson rushed for 101 yards on 26 carries Sunday afternoon as Cincinnati rallied past the Carolina Panthers, 17-14.

Cincinnati was down, 14-10, to start the fourth quarter, but safety Kevin Kaesviharn made a key pass interception with under four minutes remaining to help the Bengals (4-2) get the win.

Quarterback Carson Palmer was 23-of-39 passing for 240 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions while Reggie Kelly and T.J. Houshmandzadeh both caught scoring passes.

Cincinnati had lost its previous two games after starting the season with three straight wins.

For the Panthers (4-3), Jake Delhomme went 20-for-34 passing for 238 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. Steve Smith had eight catches for 126 yards, Kris Mangum and Nick Goings both caught touchdown passes and DeShaun Foster gained 59 yards on 14 carries.
