GLENDALE, Ariz., Oct. 16 (UPI) -- Chicago edged out Arizona 24-23 Monday night, giving the unbeaten Bears a scare.
The Bears had to rally from a 20-point deficit. Devin Hester returned a punt 83 yards late in the fourth quarter and the Chicago defense scored twice in the second half.
Neil Rackers had the chance to give the Cardinals back the lead with under a minute to play, but hooked a 40-yard attempt wide left.
The Bears won despite six turnovers from starting quarterback Rex Grossman, and the Cardinals dominated for most of the game.
Grossman finished 14-of-37 for 148 yards with no touchdowns, four interceptions and two fumbles.
For the Cards, Matt Leinart went 24-of-42 for 232 yards with a pair of touchdown tosses. Arizona (1-5) has lost five straight.
