COL FB: Texas 63, Baylor 31

AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 14 (UPI) -- Colt McCoy passed for 276 yards and six touchdowns Saturday night as the sixth-ranked Texas Longhorns outslugged the Baylor Bears, 63-31.

Limas Sweed and Billy Pittman each caught two touchdown passes for the Longhorns (6-1, 3-0 Big 12), who have won a league-record 18 straight Big 12 bouts, and have beaten its last 25 conference opponents at home.

Peter Ullman and Jermichael Finley also caught touchdown passes for Texas.

Shawn Bell completed 25-of-47 passes for 297 yards with two touchdowns for the Bears (3-4, 2-1), who lost to Texas for the ninth consecutive time.

Trent Shelton caught six passes for 113 yards and a TD, while Paul Mosley rushed for 64 yards and a touchdown.
