Cleveland, Boston complete NBA trade

CLEVELAND, Oct. 13 (UPI) -- The Cleveland Cavaliers have acquired center Dwayne Jones from the Boston Celtics for swingman Luke Jackson and cash.

The 6-foot-11-inch Jones, who plays both forward and guard, played 14 games with Boston last season, averaging 1 point and 2.2 rebounds in 6.2 minutes per game. He also played 26 games with Florida of the NBA's development league, and led the league in rebounds with 11.7 per game. Jackson, 23, was a first-round pick in 2004 by Cleveland. He averaged 2.7 points and 1.1 rebounds over 36 games last season, but missed 32 contests because of a broken left wrist.
