PITTSBURGH, Oct. 12 (UPI) -- Linebacker Chad Brown, who last played with the NFL's Pittsburgh Steelers almost a decade ago, is back with the team.
Brown provides the team with backup at outside linebacker, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review said. Starting linebacker Joey Porter, suffering from an injured hamstring, may not be able to play Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs while reserve linebacker James Harrison is definitely on the injured list.
Brown played with the Steelers as a rookie, remaining in Pittsburgh from 1993 to 1997. He most recently played with the New England Patriots and has been elected to appear in the Pro Bowl three times.
