ANAHEIM, Calif., Oct. 9 (UPI) -- Chris Kunitz knocked in two power play goals to hand the unbeaten Anaheim Mighty Ducks a 2-0 shutout of the St. Louis Blues at the Honda Center Monday night.

Ducks' goalie Jean-Sebastein Giguere turned away 34 shots to post his 22nd career shutdown, while Curtis Danford made 32 saves for the winless Blues, who have lost 12 straight road games going back to last season.

The Mighty Ducks (3-0) are off to their best start in franchise history.

"Having depth makes us more confident," said Temu Salanne, who had assists on both of Kunitz's scores. The Ducks have won their last seven home games against the Blues.
