Ochoa maintains lead at Corona Morelia

MICHOACAN, Mexico, Oct. 7 (UPI) -- Lorena Ochoa shot a 5-under 68 Saturday to maintain her three-shot lead at the LPGA's Corona Morelia Championship at Michoacan, Mexico.

If Ochoa, from the nearby city of Guadalajara, wins Sunday she will expand her LPGA Tour money lead this season.

Ochoa, who took the lead with a course-record 64 Friday, stands at 16-under 203 through three rounds -- breaking the previous 54-hole tournament scoring record by five shots.

A win Sunday would be her fourth of the season, and the first of her career in Mexico.

Julieta Granada, a 19-year-old rookie from Paraguay, had a 7-under 66 Saturday as the rest of Ochoa's third-round challengers faded. Granada is at 13-under 206.

First-round leader Brandie Burton is alone in third place at 210 after shooting a 67. Christina Kim (65) and Young Jo (69) are tied for fourth at 211.
