ST. LOUIS, Oct. 1 (UPI) -- St. Louis rallied from three deficits Sunday and beat the Detroit Lions, 41-34.
The winning score came on Marc Bulger's five-yard touchdown pass to Isaac Bruce with 1:56 left.
Bulger was 26-of-42 passing for 328 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions; Steven Jackson rushed for one score and 81 yards on 22 carries; Torry Holt had a touchdown on six catches for 102 yards; Isaac Bruce had one touchdown on seven receptions for 100 yards; Joe Klopfenstein caught a touchdown pass; and Jeff Wilkins kicked four field goals for the Rams (3-1).
Jon Kitna completed 29 of his 43 passes for 280 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions; Roy Williams made nine catches for 139 yards; Mike Furrey had two touchdowns on eight receptions for 82 yards; and Jason Hanson kicked two field goals for the winless Lions (0-4).
