NFL: Cleveland 24, Oakland 21

OAKLAND, Calif., Oct. 1 (UPI) -- The Cleveland Browns held Oakland scoreless in the second half Sunday and beat the Raiders, 24-21, for their first win of the year.

Charlie Frye was 22-of-32 for 192 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions; Reuben Droughns had 25 carries for 100 yards; Braylon Edwards had six receptions for 75 yards; and while Kellen Winslow, Jr., Joe Jurevicius, and Darnell Dinkins caught scoring passes for the Browns (1-3).

LaMont Jordan had 20 carries for 128 yards and one touchdown; Justin Fargas gained 54 yards on three carries; Andrew Walter went 9-for-23 for 68 yards, one touchdown, and one interception; and the leading receiver, Ronald Curry, had only three catches for 27 yards for the winless Raiders (0-3).
