Woods in command at Chandler's Cross

CHANDLER'S CROSS, England, Sept. 30 (UPI) -- Tiger Woods will carry a six-shot lead into Sunday's final round of the European Golf Tour's American Express Championship at Chandler's Cross, England.

In Saturday's third round, Woods, who is bidding for his sixth straight tournament victory, shot 4-under-par 67, and eagled the 18th and final hole for the third consecutive day.

"It has been good to me that hole, hasn't it," Woods said. "Today I actually pulled my tee shot left into where the gallery was but I got a great lie, down grain, and I just hit a five wood trying to get anywhere right of the hole."

The event is sanctioned by the PGA Tour, meaning a Woods victory on Sunday technically would add to his streak.

Adam Scott is second after a 6-under 65 and has an overall total of 13-under 200.

Jim Furyk (69) and Brett Quigley (67) are tied for third at 12-under 201.
