MIAMI, Sept. 28 (UPI) -- Winning pitcher Kyle Lohse had one hit and two RBI Thursday night to help Cincinnati beat the Florida Marlins, 5-1.
Javier Valentin, Edwin Carnacion, and Juan Castro all drove in one run; and Valetin had two the seven hits for the Reds (79-80), who have won four of their last five games.

In six innings, Lohse (3-5) walked three batters and struck out five.
Miguel Cabrera had two of the four hits and drove in the only run for the Marlins (77-82), who have lost three of their last four games.
Losing pitcher Ricky Nolasco (11-11) gave up five runs and seven hits in six innings with three walks and five strikeouts.
Cincinnati won four of the last six meetings between the teams this season.
