MLB: Seattle 10, Oakland 9, 10 innings

SEATTLE, Sept. 26 (UPI) -- Ichiro Suzuki had five hits Monday night and Seattle closer J.J. Pulz struck out the side in the 10th as the Mariners downed the Oakland Athletics, 10-9.

Oakland blew a six-run lead as Putz improved to 4-1, keeping the Athletics' magic number for clinching the AL West title at two games. Seattle's Willie Bloomquist single drove in Suzuki with the winning run in the bottom of the 10th.

Milton Bradley hit a home run for the A's, Mark Ellis was 2-for-5 with two RBI, and Jason Kendall was 2-for-5 with 3 RBI for Oakland, which had a season-high 21 hits.
