NFL: Cincinnati 34, Cleveland 17

CINCINNATI, Sept. 17 (UPI) -- Rudi Johnson rushed for 145 yards, including two fourth-quarter touchdowns, Sunday to lead the Cincinnati Bengals to a 34-17 win over the Cleveland Browns.

Carson Palmer passed for 352 yards and two touchdowns and the Bengals defense picked off Charlie Frye twice.

Cincinnati outgained Cleveland 481 yards to 301 yards and converted 8-of-15 on third down.

Reuben Droughns ran for only 32 yards and scored a touchdown that brought the Browns within 20-10 early in the fourth quarter. However, Johnson took over from there, with two touchdown runs.

Frye was 20-of-33 for 244 yards with a rushing touchdown late in the fourth quarter for Cleveland (0-2).
