MLB: Atlanta 4, Philadelphia 1

ATLANTA, Sept. 14 (UPI) -- A three-run homer by Martin Prado Thursday night helped Atlanta beat the Philadelphia Phillies, 4-1.

Andruw Jones hit a solo homer, and both he and Jeff Francoeur had a run and a hit for the Braves (70-76), who recovered from a doubleheader sweep by Philadelphia on Wednesday.

Winner Chuck James (10-3) scattered five hits over seven scoreless innings with two walks and seven strikeouts.

Bob Wickman recorded his 14th save for Atlanta.

Jeff Conine hit an RBI single in the top of the eighth for the lone run, and Pat Burrell and Chase Utley both had two hits for the Phillies (74-72), who have split their last 10 games.

Losing pitcher Jamie Moyer (2-2) allowed four runs and five hits in six innings with no walks and two strikeouts.
