PHOENIX, Sept. 13 (UPI) -- Washington edged Arizona 5-4 Tuesday, with Nook Logan singling in Brian Schneider for the go-ahead run in the eighth.
The Nationals also benefited from a throwing error by second baseman Orlando Hudson, who took Schneider's grounder and threw it high, allowing him to advance to second base before Logan's single.
